I knew a witch who was offended because a woman went to
church and prayed to Jesus to help her find a husband. The witch referred to
the woman as a fake Jesus-Loving- Bible-Toter and refused to sell her a love
spell to attract a husband. I am just going to call a spade a spade; this was one
of the most ridiculous things I had ever heard—and maybe I was ignorant for not
speaking up-- but I didn’t have the courage at the time. So I am writing now what
I wanted to tell the Witch at that time—in my heart this is what I believe
happened when the woman went to church and prayed to Jesus.
The woman went to church and prayed for a husband—and Jesus
inspired her to seek the services of the baddest- the G.O.A.T Witch that he
knew of that the woman could get in contact with who would deliver her a
husband. This is what I believe. This is how I think.
Everything works together for our highest good. I believe
that magic is simply a practical way of bringing forth from our subconscious
our deepest and most sincere desires so that we can align our thoughts and actions
with our desire so that we can recognize when we have what we say we want.
The reason I say, “What we say we
want” is because we are eternal beings. We don’t need anything and this is why
after people get what they want they become bored with it and want something
else—just like babies. When we finally give babies the thing that they have
been crying for—the baby will play with it for a few moments before letting it
drop to the floor.
I believe that as we progress spiritually we need less
physical matter to help us manifest what we want because we have learned how to
use our imagination and utilize our mental powers. In addition to the fact that
we want less material things and attune
to the feeling nature of what we want to experience-- we realize that we have
come to this planet for a brief moment in time to love and be loved.
People who go to church hate people who practice magick,
people who are involved in the occult are intolerant of people who are
Christians, Muslims, etc.
In this YouTube Video, I share my story a bout my personal experience with Jesus and why I made a 6 feet 7 inch, life size Jesus Doll Fabric Sculpture.
Even though all religions declare and acknowledge that
nothing is more powerful than Love they
are mostly all intolerant of loving and respecting anyone who does not abide by
their rules, ideology, beliefs, and religion.
This is a blatant contradiction – in my opinion—of what Infinite Love
is.
I teach at a community college and in my classroom, we do a
lot of group assignments. In one of my classes, I had a Nun in full habit (They
are now called Sisters), a Muslim dressed in her Hijab, and a male Witch in a group
together laughing, cracking jokes, and sharing their stories with each other
while working on their project.
I broke down crying in tears of joy. I will never forget
this day as long as I live. I am crying tears of joy as I type this. The number one rule in my classroom is that we
all grow, learn, and evolve through each other’s truth. The more we share our
stories from our heart space and not from our egos the more we expand as
infinite, loving, and powerful beings.
I am a spiritual slut. I am a multi-spiritual being. I
practice Feng Shui, I carry an orange bible with me that was given to me while
I was skipping high school in the ninth
grade by an old white man. The old white man asked me if I accepted, Jesus
Christ in my life as my Lord and Savior, and I put down my jumbo size olive
green Tupperware cup filled with Southern Comfort and Ginger ale on the swing,
and took the Eve Light 12o cigarette out of my mouth and stepped on it—and said
yes.
I was 15-years-old at the time. This Bible is still in my
purse. I took it with me to the abortion clinic, to take my GED, to take my
Doctoral exams, to every job interview, and to say Good bye at my father’s
Grave.
When I became enraged at work and called my co-worker a
mother-fuc$@#r at a meeting, I went to my office, called home, and told my
daughter to burn my protection candles made by my favorite witches. My magick
candles have never failed me. I know that when I am using my “Sh@T” I must be
in the right head space because karma is real.
While fasting, I have taken my bible, my magick candles,
Gemstones, spell jars, incense, and cauldron, outside under the full moon to
petition and cast a spell for the Universe to bestow grace and mercy upon my
life.
When people ask me, why my life size Jesus is white—the question
seems small and mundane in the big scheme of who I really am. In my Jungle Beauty Goddess Book series,
Jesus’s Mother and Father are Black, and
his brother, Shiva is blue. I would think one would have bigger concerns.
I don’t believe in or
prescribe to any religion, however; I do believe that there is some truth,
knowledge, and practices from all religious dogma, metaphysics, and spiritual
practices that can help people heal themselves and take control of their own lives.
I believe in God, I believe in angels, spiritual guides, and of course I talk
to and hug Trees.
