Hot Glue Waterfalls DIY Removed Writer's Block

The one thing that I am learning about life is that whatever safe and healthy interest you have—you should let them play themselves out.  For some strange reason, I have been obsessed with Hot Glue Waterfalls tutorials on YouTube.

I don’t know why they interest me so much. I mean I can’t swim. I am a doll artist and writer- when I am not teaching psychology. I like to dabble in crafts and  Do-It-yourself DIYs, but making waterfalls using hot glue—I don’t  understand why the heck this interested me so much.

So as I am watching these hot glue gun craft waterfall tutorials, I begin to fantasize about the water turning into chocolate fudge or gold or bubble gum. What’s weird is that I had writer’s block for almost 6 months on the last two chapters of the Jungle Beauty Goddesses’ book  series 3, “Dirty Ball.”  While painting a mountain, I saw the next scene play out in my imagination and I wasn’t thinking about writing or the Jungle Beauty Goddesses in the least bit.

I was thinking about making cotton candy, lollipop, and rock candy trees to add to my bubble gum waterfall. I was thinking about strawberries and bananas gliding down the hot chocolate fudge waterfall surrounded by chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate chip cookies.

I have one more hot glue waterfall tutorial to make and then this waterfall insanity will be out of my system. When I look at these waterfalls, I think I will always remember them as the artistic catalysts that released my writer’s block.

Maybe if you have writer’s block or you are looking for a way to tap into your creativity try making one of these hot glue waterfall DIYs.
