Dear Jungle Beauty Goddess Namib,

I am very frustrated. I hate my job. I hate my life. I don’t know why humans exist in the first place. If there is a God, He must have a wicked sense of humor to create a place to torture humans.

Fed Up.

Dear Fed Up,

Find ten things in your life that you love. Rather it be a sock, a song, a cookie, a movie or a restaurant—find those  ten things and hold on to them for dear life. Ask yourself why you like it. Is it because of the color, the scent, the way it feels, or the way it sounds?  Don’t think about anything else. Create a psychological safe place in your mind by cutting out a picture of a nature scene or taking a picture of your favorite quite place in the world and glue it to your imagination. See yourself sitting and lying there feeling relaxed and safe.

When you go to work do your job to the best of your ability while thinking about the 10 things that you love. Do this for 2 weeks. Don’t listen to or read any bad news. Don’t hang around people who complain and whine about their life. Whenever a negative thought creeps into your mind, say out loud, “Delete!”  If you think about issues in somebody else’s life such as who is divorcing, using drugs, etc… tell yourself out loud, “This is none of my business!”

If you are depressed you cannot will yourself into a positive mood. You need to see a medical doctor because you may have a chemical imbalance. If you can, eliminate fast food from your diet. Making your own food connects your soul to your body. I know you hear this all the time, but yes, try to exercise. Buy an exercise bike and put it in your living room in the place of your favorite chair, hula hoop, or do jumping jacks. The more you purposely use your body the more you will align your mind, body, and soul.

The biggest problems that you are facing in your life are tied to the reason why you are here on Earth to find a solution. The person who is most likely to find a solution for let’s say stuttering—is going to be a person who has personally suffered from it or they have watched someone close to them struggle with it. Most of us wouldn’t think of finding the solution because we are completely removed from the problem.

Make a detailed list of why you hate your job. If you noticed, I first asked you to find 1o things that you love. Until you change your vibratory mood to a more positive and pleasant level the information you receive from your soul will be tainted by your emotional state of being.

In your detailed list of why you hate your job therein lays the answer to what you want to do with your life. Remember though, you can’t say things like you don’t like your boss or co-workers –even if it’s true—because you are most likely to attract more people in your life with the exact same characteristics because of who you are. Instead,  in your list ask yourself questions about  rather or not you like working with your hands? Do you want a fixed schedule or each day to be different? How much money do you want to make? Do you like working alone or with others? --and so forth.

If you were a bodiless spirit that could go anywhere and do anything at the blink of an eye you would feel as if you did not exist.  Your body suit in the game of life is designed to fit you and-- only you--perfectly to play on planet Earth. Appreciate it. Be grateful for it because you won’t have it forever.
